New beginnings

We are super excited to share our new website and brand identity. This is the first step in the upcoming launch of our contract automation product. We thought we’d offer some more background on where we are coming from, and where we are going.

Contract clarity

Contract automation products tend to focus on efficiency, cost savings, speed, control of risk. To us, that goes without saying. We want to do something more: bring a new dimension of clarity to how contracts work. Because when everything is clear, efficiency, trust and other good things follow. Majoto is built to make the entire contract process clearer and simpler, for everyone.

The powerful alternative

Bringing that clarity to life means doing things differently. Not replicating Word documents, but designing a new style of doc that truly works for contracts. Redesigning processes, to reduce friction and improve collaboration. Giving our customers a new way of using some of the best productivity tools out there, rather than building an expensive and unfamiliar new platform. Different is necessary, because the plethora of automation products out there have not yet solved the problems on the ground. And that’s why Majoto is the powerful alternative to solving those problems.

Core principles

We have distilled the things that make us different into three core principles, inspired by John Maeda’s Laws of Simplicity. We loved the way some of his laws captured the essence of what we are trying to do.

REDUCE: the thoughtful reduction of information and processes.

Contract processes and automation technology tend to increase complexity rather than reducing it. From the start, we set out to simplify and minimise as the best strategy to achieving efficiency.

ORGANISE: structured thinking and data gives greater control.

We organise information and processes differently. Not through rigid workflows, but by arranging information so it can be navigated by sight, actioned with a click and easily extracted as data.

ENHANCE: shared knowledge makes everything clearer.

We want users to teach, learn, experiment, design, discover. To really engage with contracts in a modern way - together - rather continuing in silos executing old processes dictated by tech. We think it’s the best way to do things faster and get better results.

Majoto brand story

If you’d like to know more about the thought process that led to Majoto check out our founder’s blog as well as the early posts on this site. If you’re curious about the origins of the name, the secret is revealed in this post!

What’s next

You can already request a demo of Majoto and trial it ahead of our launch (bear with us if we’re slow to respond - it means we’re getting a lot of requests!). In the next weeks, we will be adding new ways for you to try Majoto out and get early pre-launch access. Follow us on LinkedIn if you don’t want to miss it.
